(Collection of keys: April 2015 to present. Distribution: Oct 2015 to present.)

Key Holder to a Million Dollar Home, exists as a participation piece using house keys to experiment with the idea of ownership. This piece consist of over 100 sets of keys that once opened the doors to the multi million dollar homes scattered across the San Francisco Bay Area. The keys are legally donated to me by a property management company based in Northern California. For this piece, chosen participants from all around the United States will be able to purchase a key for $5.75 through PayPal, Venmo or personal checks payable to me, Nancy Sayavong. After the key envelope is signed, the buyer will automatically become “a key holder to a million dollar home” of an unknown location in the city.
